Hey DSA students, do you need production credits and love celebrating history? This year's Black History Assembly and Women’s History Assembly are going to be virtual and we are looking for student created performances to include in the assembly. These performances can include playing instruments, artwork for the presentation, singing, acting, spoken word, or dancing. All artforms are welcome. The only requirements are that they have to be created safely, recorded on video, and aligned with the theme of one the assemblies. 

To be included in the assembly the video or artwork must be sent to [email protected] using the following themes and submitted before these dates.

• Black History Month: The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity. Submissions are due by January 15th
• Women’s History Month: Valiant Women of the Vote: Refusing to Be Silenced. Submission are due by February 17th
