Dear DSA Parent(s) or Guardian(s):

During the 2020-2021 school year, The DeKalb County School District (DCSD) will administer the PSAT/NMSQT to all interested 10th grade students and paid 11th grade students, with parental consent.

The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) will pay for all 10th grade students in the state of Georgia to take the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday, October 14, 2020

Parents and students may prepare for the PSAT/NMSQT assessment by visiting this LINK. The link provides important test details, familiarizes students with question types, and information on the National Merit Scholarship Program.

College Board has not made provisions for a virtual test administration of the PSAT, therefore it is their intent that DCSD will be able to provide a safe and secure testing environment for students who would like to participate. With that, the 2020 PSAT/NMSQT test will be administered face to face at each high school. Students must register in advance. Registration will open Tuesday, September 22, 2020 and close on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, 11:59 PM. You can register HERE.

The PSAT/NMSQT will be administered at
DeKalb School of the Arts
1192 Clarendon Ave, Avondale Estates, GA 30002
