Spend a week learning Improvisational comedy with The Brink Improv.
Overview
Our professionally-trained instructors represent some of Atlanta’s best and most experienced improvisational comedians. We create a fun and supportive environment where students can explore, develop, and succeed. While improvisation is most commonly associated with being funny, the fundamentals of the art also propel a creative process leading to support, engagement, trust, and developing confidence on and off-stage as well.
Our approach to learning improv is based on teaching skills that will not only make them better performers, but also provide them with valuable tools they can use every day. We teach students to have confidence in their own ideas, accept failure, work well on a team, and communicate more effectively.
The Week’s Agenda
The week will consist of improvisational exercises and games crafted to focus on: Confidence, Listening, Acceptance, Communication and Finding the Fun. The daily agenda will be comprised of ensemble building activities, theatre games, improvisational activities/exercises and performance opportunities.
The family and friends get to see the fruits of their labor with an end of the week performance. Our facilitators will guide and support these students as they learn and explore the outstanding benefits of improvisation, form new friendships and walk away with life-long lessons that only improv can teach.

Lunch: Drinks and snacks are provided. Students are asked to bring a packed lunch.
